Pixels: integers from 1 to 1,000,000. Ratio sides: greater than 0 and at most 1,000,000; decimals allowed.
Shows the last valid calculation, scaled to fit.

PC display, video, cinema and photo-print sizes. Product labels such as 2K and 3K can refer to different sizes; check the pixel dimensions. Photo-print sizes are preparation examples at 300 ppi. Select a size to update the calculators. Initially sorted by total pixels, ascending. Select the size or ratio heading to toggle ascending/descending order. Ratios are sorted by width divided by height.
On narrow screens, scroll the table horizontally.

About this tool
Aspect ratio describes width relative to height. Check image and video proportions and calculate resizing dimensions. All calculations run in your browser; inputs are not sent to a server.
How to use
Enter width and height to get the exact reduced ratio. To calculate dimensions, enter a ratio, choose the known side and enter its pixels. You can also select a size from the lists. Valid edits update the other calculator: exact ratios from pixels, or rounded dimensions from a ratio.
Ratios and rounding
An approximate ratio is only a comparison. The closest common ratio within 1.5% relative error is shown. Otherwise the longer side divided by the shorter side is shown to two decimal places. This is separate from rounding pixel dimensions.
Frequently asked questions
Should I use the exact or approximate ratio?
The exact ratio corresponds to the actual pixels. Approximate ratios help compare familiar shapes. Exact matches have no approximation marker.
Can I enter decimals such as 9:19.5?
Positive decimal ratios are supported. Pixel inputs must be positive integers. Fractional calculated dimensions are rounded with a note.
What happens when I clear an input?
That calculator shows an error and the preview retains the last valid result. The other calculator keeps its inputs.
Why does display resolution differ from browser size?
Browsers use CSS pixels. Device scaling and display settings affect the viewport. The list shows physical display pixels published by manufacturers.
