Does this show my monitor’s configured refresh rate?
No. It measures how often this browser renders frames. The estimated Hz value is the closest rate from a list of common values; it does not read the monitor or OS settings.
FPS / Hz
Measure your browser’s current rendering FPS and compare motion smoothness. The refresh rate is an estimate, not your monitor’s configured setting.
Default: 360 px/s. Adjust all three lanes together; this changes motion speed, not the target FPS.
All lanes use the same selected speed. Comparison lanes update at up to 60 / 30 FPS; they cannot exceed the browser’s rendering FPS. Display timing may cause uneven steps.
Keep this tab active and wait about 2 seconds for the numbers. Compare the lines, text and shapes across the three lanes. Adjust the speed to make the difference easier to see. Use Measure again after moving the window to another display.
No. It measures how often this browser renders frames. The estimated Hz value is the closest rate from a list of common values; it does not read the monitor or OS settings.
Comparison lanes cannot update faster than the browser. At around 60 FPS, the current and 60 FPS lanes may look similar. At around 30 FPS, all three may look similar.
Load, power saving, browser behavior, VRR or multiple displays may affect the result. Keep the tab active, close heavy applications and check your display settings before measuring again.
It changes the distance the pattern moves per second in every lane. The measurement method and the 60 / 30 FPS comparison targets stay the same.
It is the average time between browser frames. Around 60 FPS is 16.67 ms, 120 FPS is 8.33 ms and 165 FPS is 6.06 ms. Smaller values mean more frequent updates.
