This free tool turns a website URL into a static QR code for signs, documents and business cards. Paste a complete URL starting with http:// or https:// to generate automatically. This tool does not shorten links or count scans.
The default is dark squares on white, 512 px, with no logo. Choose squares, rounded squares or round dots, and change colors, the background, a center logo and image size. After generating, design changes update both the preview and the download automatically.
Paste the address copied from your browser and generate the QR code. You can customize its appearance in the optional design settings. Scanning opens the encoded link; this tool does not shorten links or track scans.
This is a static QR code. Its content cannot be changed after downloading.
Use a complete website URL starting with http:// or https://. Spaces, control characters and credentials embedded in the URL are not allowed. The entered URL is encoded as supplied; this tool does not check whether the destination is safe or accessible.
QR codes are generated in your browser. Your content and logo are not sent to a server or an external QR service, and they are not saved automatically. The downloaded QR image contains your content, so anyone you share it with can read it.
PNG is convenient for documents and everyday sharing. SVG keeps the QR shapes sharp when scaled and works well for printing or resizing. Logos are included in both formats, but the logo itself is a raster image and may blur when enlarged.
Readability depends on design, image size, print quality and the reader. Use a dark QR color on a light background and keep the margin intact. Test the downloaded image with a phone before use. If it is difficult to scan, try the default squares on white with no logo.
This tool creates static QR codes, so the content of a downloaded image cannot be changed. Generate a new image for new content. If the URL stays the same, you can still update the content of the destination web page.
This tool does not set an expiry date on the QR image. A linked page may still become unavailable if it is removed or its publication period ends.
QR codes have a limited capacity. Japanese characters, emoji and adding a logo affect how much content fits. Shorten the text or remove the logo if you see an error. For dense codes, use a larger image and test it with a phone.
